KELLY COZART ARTIST

PAINTINGS

Her frescoes of ‘gesso lime putty’ plaster and of natural earth pigments link us to the walls of first-man. Distance in time that gathered in an expression of passion, rhythm, and grace creates balance and beauty in space. She employs a modern interpretation of fresco techniques in which rich pigments are embedded in wet plaster on constructed panels.

Her oils on board contain the expressive colors that impressionist masters have used to communicate the images of mankind, captured in bits and pieces, as we admire them hanging on our walls.
